Life as a PROtographer
About
Being a PROtographer means stepping into the exhilarating, fast-paced environment of water sports, where the thrill of sailing is matched only by the challenge of capturing it. Every day brings new energy—whether you’re out on a boat snapping dynamic action shots of windsurfers and dinghy sailors, or interacting with guests to deliver professional-quality photo packages that showcase their passion.

The PROtography Journey
PROtography began with a simple goal: to combine my love for photography and watersports into something extraordinary. My name is Miles Taylor, and I founded PROtography after years of honing my craft as a watersports photographer. From shooting adrenaline-fueled moments on the water to freelancing with some of the biggest names in the industry, I’ve built a business that thrives on connection, creativity, and adventure.
Vasiliki became the perfect home for PROtography—a vibrant hub of windsurfing and sailing that’s full of energy and opportunity. Today, PROtography stands out not just as a photography service but as a community of professionals who are passionate about what they do.
Immerse Yourself in Adventure
Vasiliki is one of the most iconic watersports destinations in the world. As a PROtographer, you’ll live and work in a breathtaking setting surrounded by like-minded individuals who share your passion.
Build an Unmatched Portfolio
Gain hands-on experience capturing high-speed action shots, dynamic lifestyle images, and everything in between. This is your chance to develop a unique portfolio that will stand out in the photography industry.

Flexible Earning Potential
Alongside a weekly wage, PROtographers benefit from performance-based bonuses, giving you the freedom to maximize your earnings.
Professional Growth
From honing your technical skills to mastering client interactions, working with PROtography is a stepping stone to a thriving career in watersports and action photography.

As a PROtographer, you’ll find yourself immersed in the action, working closely with watersports enthusiasts and professionals alike. Your days will be spent capturing moments that inspire, from adrenaline-filled moments on the water to candid interactions back on shore. It’s a role that demands adaptability, creativity, and the ability to thrive under constantly changing conditions.
Mornings in Vasiliki typically begin with gentle onshore breezes and calm seas, creating ideal conditions for beginners and those looking to refine their skills. As the day progresses, a local thermal wind, affectionately known as ‘Eric,’ intensifies, providing thrilling conditions for advanced windsurfers and sailors. This predictable wind pattern ensures that each day is filled with opportunities to capture dynamic action shots against the stunning backdrop of the Ionian Sea.

"Working for PROtography/Miles in 2023, has brought me a great new skills set. Before starting the job, I was quite new to photography, and a little scared to put my content out in public, however Miles was always open and ready to help me along every step until I was fully comfortable and confident! Not only did he help me with gaining more photography and editing skills, I’ve also learned how to promote the content and build professional relationships with the clients. I’m grateful to have learned those skills, and still use them daily!"

"Working for PROtography was one of if not the best job that I’ve had. If I didn’t have other commitments I would still be there. I mean, island lifestyle, blue warm water and some of the best scenery around couple with such an amazing group of people to work with, I feel gutted that I can’t go back! It’s hard ‘work’ (can’t really call it work when you love what you’re doing) but so rewarding and worth it! I used to pinch myself to see if it was actually real, at times I couldn’t believe it :) If you can, I’d recommend applying for this opportunity that can change your trajectory in life!"
